Fillmore or Western Addition, also includes Japantown. Redevelopment in
the ?60s and ?70s made this neighborhood a thriving residential and
business center with a diverse urban population. Restored Victorians on

California are among the housing options. Japantown, an enclave
originally settled by Japanese immigrants after the 1906 quake, offers

activities available. Eat in one of many Japanese restaurants, shop for
treasures at the Japan Center Mall or catch the latest flick at the
Kabuki movie theatre.
